Cortina d’Ampezzo

Cortina is set in a valley, enclosed in the natural shape of an amphitheatre, surrounded by towering mountains of unique beauty. The quietness of the forest and the pure air and splendid colour of the blue sky makes Cortina the undisputed ‘Queen of the Dolomites.’Admired and loved by all who are enthusiastic about high peaks and stunning landscapes, Cortina as a ski resort became well known in 1956 hosting the Winter Olympics, and it is still renowned for its fabulous ski runs.

We have the privilege of hosting numerous important international winter and summer events. In summer we have various activities and excursions, from cycling, walking, and mountain climbing, to lazy walks along our ‘passeggiata’ trail. There are many opportunities to enjoy a variety of attractions during any season, from the international cultural centre, to experiencing the tastes of renowned culinary delights and local traditional specialities in our splendid restaurants.

Cortina is a place to get together; to enjoy our night life, or just relax and admire the scenery. A visit to Cortina will remain an unforgettable experience. For a special stay, come and discover the magic of it all in our bed & breakfast at ‘Villino Majoni’
